This is Thomas' first year as Head Coach for the Beaconsfield Bluefins Swim Club.  Thomas brings with him a wealth of swimming experience, both as a coach with the McGill University and CNPPO teams plus as an elite athlete. He was on the Canadian National Swimming Team from 2000-2003, 2005-2006 and 2009.  In his new role he will be both Head Coach, in charge of the Club coaching staff and programs, as well as the coach of the Elite Group.  Thomas is the Canadian Men's 50M Fly recordholder

Louis will be in his 10th season as a Bluefins coach.  Last year he took over the coaching duties of the 4A group after having had a successful season coaching the Junior Elite group in 2009/2010.
His biggest coaching asset is his ability to motivate and keep swimmers interested in the sport.  Other duties Louis has include Program Supervisor for our Junior Fins programs and Bluefins Recruitment at the ALPS pools during the summer.  Louis is also Head Coach of the College St-Anne swim team.

Etienne Paquet is now in his third season on the Bluefins staff, coaching the 3A group. Etienne has been a swimmer with the Bluefins for over 11 years reaching the National Level while swimming with previous Bluefins Head Coach, Russ Franklin.  He has also coached with the swim team in Vaudreuil/Dorion and in the summer coaches at CAVIP pool.

Matt is in his fourth year with the Bluefins. This year he will be coaching the 2A group.  He will also be coaching the evening Masters program and be handling all the Administration duties for the Club's meet entries. Matt swam for 10 years with DDO, moved on to Water polo and participated at the National Level.  He coached previously at the Vaudreuil Vipers Club. He is a past Lifeguard/Coach for the Windermere Pool where he worked for 8 summers.  Matt recently finished his Bachelor's degree at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business and is currently pursuing another Bachelor's degree in Education at McGill University

After recently retiring as a National Level swimmer with the Bluefins, Spencer has taken over the coaching duties of the 1A group. His extensive swimming experience includes coaching our Pre-Competitive Levels and in the summer, working for the Beacon Hill pool.  Spencer is a student at Concordia University in the John Molson School of Business.

Spencer swam with Pointe-Claire Swim Club for 5 years followed by one year with the Beaconsfield Bluefins. He is currently in his second year of the Science Program at the John Abbott College. Spencer spent the summer of 2011 working at Beaconsfield Heights Community Pool. 

Ben is now in his 2nd season on the Bluefins coaching staff.  Ben will be coaching the 3B group. Ben swam competitively for Bluefins for 2 years and last year for the John Abbott College. Ben has a year of coaching experience with the Pre-Competitive level 3 group and 2 years with the Beaconsfield High School swim team and in the summer, working for the Beaurepaire Swim Club. Ben is currently studying commerce at John Abbott College.

After swimming with Bluefins for five seasons (2005-2009), Christine is happy to return as the coach of the 2B group. She has just finished her third summer of life guarding at Beaconsfield Heights Community Pool. Christine is currently in her second year at John Abbott College, studying in the Honours Science program and swimming for the CEGEP's team. She is looking forward to a fantastic season!

Tim is starting his 8th season with the Bluefins coaching staff after having coached the 2B group for 5 years and Pre-Competitive levels for 2 years. Tim graduated from Concordia University in Recreation Therapy  and is now pursuing a Masters degree in Educational Psychology at McGill .  During the summer months, Tim works with Louis on Bluefins recruitment at the ALPS and NAA pools. In the past Tim managed Lakeside Pool where he was head coach of the swim team.  Tim prefers to work with the younger kids and has shown great talent for coaching this age group.

This is Karyna's first season coaching with the Beaconsfield Bluefins.  Karyna has extensive swimming experience having swum for DDO for 7 years.  She is currently studying Arts & Culture at John Abbott College.

This is Bruno's first year as a coach with the Bluefins. He swims in the elite group and has been part of the club for the past 11 years. He is currently studying Media Arts at John Abbott College. His work experience includes coaching at Windermere Aquatic Club and Beacon Hill pool.

Mike Leites has been a swimmer all his life, specializing in backstroke and butterfly.  He is currently studying Engineering at John Abbott College and still swims for their team.  Mike also trains in martial arts and enjoys cycling.
